    Blair Witch Bike????

So this evening I came home and noticed that the tail light was lit on the bike? 8O 8O 8O It has not been ridden for a over a week . I stepped on the brake pedal and the light lit brighter, so it is just the tail light, not the brake light. Needless to say it had drained my battery. Does anyone have any friggin' idea what is going on? It has been raining all day and the bike is outside. This is freaky!

I think you answered your own question on the rain.....water getting into some electrical connection, a short to ground is achieved, and PRESTO! dead battery....Give your GS a new home under a garage or bike cover.

Check your ignition switch. Been there, done that. Could've shorted there.

Oh, hows your engine?? Find your noise??

Think the noise issue will have to be solved during this winters' rebuild.

My bike has a park position on the ignition switch, the tail light stays on but everything else is off. Maybe you didn't turn it all the way?

Yep, I'd say a drop of H20 is shorting your park contacts. Blow it out with air and it should go away. Bob
