 Shocks from 650 to 450 OK?The shocks on my 450 are too weak and I'm not willing to pay for NOS originals or Progressives. I found a set of very nice looking Showas off a 650 that I was thinking of getting. There's 34,000 miles on 'em. Would you think they've had it at that mileage, or still perfectly functional? I don't know what the life of a shock is.

 The life of OEM shock's at that time was less than 20,000.
 So DA I really think you should look elswere.......................Or lose 100kg's.............OOOH!................your guna get me for that !

 Good idea to be looking at shocks from the bigger bikes, though, right? To get something plenty stiff?

 Yes, as long as it fit's.
 I remember a friend of mine useing the shock's of my GT750 on his kwaka 650, he was very happy with them.
 I put Koni's on the GT.
