    Carbs help GS1000st

Hello all, having probs with revs not dropping backdown when throttle is rolled off GS1000st slide carbs.
Started a few weeks ago, checked cables, replaced one, checked choke slides, seem OK, intermittent problem.
Yesterday checked cables again, pulled carbs off checked slides no 4 sticky,
swapped with no2, now not sticking, problem remains, seals on inlet boots looked OK, whacked on some hi temp silicon" in case".
Greased all pivot points on slides and shafts, throttle action smooth and light.
Attempted to balance carbs, balanced ok but still won't return to idle consistently.
    DUNNO ???

    idle

if you have a mechanical advancer check to see that it is operating smoothly, it maybe sticking and not allowing the timing to return to base timing, also that the cables, routed corectly, check all the hoses for cracks, you may also have a lean idle condition,

Mech advance lubed, was some air gettin into tops of carbs, balanced em.
Sealed em back up, runs sweet.
Took a 1 hr detour on the way to work this morn, just for the ride.
        Hold it flat.
