top triple clamp questions

I have a 1980 gs 1000 gl,which i love.But, I want to be able to try different handlebars,risers,etc and the one piece cast triple clamp dont allow much variability.I was hoping to mount something like the star bars that combines drag bars with rise and pullback more conducive to an upright seating position.Is ther another triple clamp from a suzuki bike that will fit and allow this change to be made.
2. The fork diameter,is it 41,43 or what?

Fork tube dia 38mm, The handle bar mount is pretty standard for all Suzuki's

Gen Mar makes risers that bolt to the cast clamps.
