    Stupid question, maybe?

I was working on the old GS today, its been sitting for about a month. When i have all the fuses in the fuse panel, i get smoke from my r/r, and my main power fuse blows. I took out the "signal" fuse, and everything is great. I assumed that the signal fuse was for the turn signals, but even with the fuse out the signals work, as well as headlight, taillight and brakelight. I am confused. Does anyone know what the heck the signal fuse is for?

Sounds like you need a wiring diagram? I have the 1978 through 1981, GS 1000 diagrams if it would help.
