Just Got my 1st streetbike 85 gs550es Need help please!

Hello GS resourses members, I have just brought home an 85 gs550 es
fixer upper that has been sitting for several years. it is missing one of the two ignition coils, and there is a part missing from the left side of the
bike just along side the seat. it mounts to the frame with two short bolts and sits about an inch or two from the electical box marked "igniter" ,can anyone tell me what this is?
(see attached photos) I am going to do my best to get this bike back on the road again & any help or advice is appreciated very much!
    thank you in advance
    Sean

(ps just noticed that I cant post photo's directly on this board.. if the descirbed part sounds familiar please let me know)

COULD BE STARTER RELAY, FUSE BOX, OR A REGULATOR/RECTIFIER THATS MISSING. I AM NOT CURTAIN OF YOUR MODEL, BUT THATS WHAT IS GENERALLY THERE ON ALL GS BIKES.

Not sure what you are missing , you can try looking here
Buy parts at a low price for your snowmobile here at Alpha Sports, we carry a LARGE variety of parts and accesories.

For the coil any of the later stuff will work GSX, bandit, RF900

That device is the turn signal relay.

          Wow,
thank you everyone! great info, I need to pick up a new battery, coil, and
a set of tires and keep my fingers crossed!
supposedly it ran fine when it was parked a few years augo....
of course we have all heard that one before.
I really cant complain, It was given to me by a friend with to many
          projects and not enough time.
