    removing cylnders

I have a 77 gs750, I am rebuilding the top end. It took an act of God to get the head off, now I cannot get the cylinders off. I beat them with a rubber mallet and nothing, what am I doing wrong??
    Thanks
    Pat

Try some penatrating oil down the head studs, pry with a 2X4

Could be hanging up on the cylinder block centering dowels and the upper case. Not sure if they are at the forward/outer studs. But do what Lynn said with the oil, it will help and try to pull the block up evenly.

      Good Luck

Try removing some of the studs before you attempt to shift the block. The front ones in particular can suffer badly from corrosion. Two nuts locked together will help to remove them.
