i was thinking about dropping down a tooth on counter shaft on the 1150 my buddys 1150 e will just roll on a wheely but my es just burn the tire down it has a new comp k metzler tireTags: None

If its smoking the tire now, dropping down a tooth on the countershaft will only make it worse. Try Billy's suggestion.

As Dink stated, the later model GS bikes had a more forward weight bias than previous models. They aren't very wheelie prone to start with. And as Earl pointed out dropping a tooth will only make wheelspin more pronounced.
