82 GS 650L

Can someone check their 650 and tell me where the cylinder fin rubbers go? I pulled them out to paint the motor and want to put them back where they belong.

there is one under each exhaust pipe and one under each intake boot.The small ones on the side go on the fins just under the spark plug right under the chrome caps for the cams.At least thats the way it is on my 83 650L

Took a closer look and discovered that the fins have a relief in them where the rubbers go.

thats good to know in case I ever pull mine off.Did you paint it black? I would like to see it if you got pics.
