Got the Vesrah kit, and in there are four flat silver washers with rubber on one side. The content list has them as "washer o-rings". I want to say these came off the four bolts securing the exhaust to the bottom of the bike, around the crossover pipe/ muffler. Anyone want to take a stab? In return, I'll offer this advice: don't throw ALL the bolts from a project into one big pile and walk away for months expecting to remember what happened when you put everything back together.

Why don't I label washers and bolts?
This is what you get for spreading a rebuild project on an engine you've never done before over three months. You think I'd have learned my lesson by now, but instead I'm doing the ol' "what do these go to" shuffle again.

There are four "sealing washers" under the four philips head screws at the left and right ends of the valve cover. They are supposed to be replaced when the valve cover is removed.

Why would you want to take all the detective work out of the assembly? That's half of the fun. Ha, Ray"Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded" -Yogi Berra
