Thanks alot guys for answering my questions about this crazy side cover issue. I'm pretty sure if I get a pair for an '85 gs700esf I should be ok, even if I have to paint them. Thanks alot guys!!!!

I don't think side panels from a 85 GS 700 will work. 83 thru 86 GS 750 will work. The 700 was different.

You have to read his original post to understand what he is looking for. The 700 was a 750 everywhere but the US because of the tariff to protect Harley. I posted a link to a picture of a 700 so he could see what they looked like.
