    repair manual

I'm trying to buy a repair manual for a 77 GS750. Who makes a good on? clymer or haynes?

I found the Clymer to be pretty decent. The manual you will need for the 77 750 is M370.

I've got a Suzuki factory service manual that covers the 77-79 GS750 that you can have for $30 including shipping. That's basically what I paid for it. The cover was a little ragged, but I put adhesive-backed plastic over it and it works pretty well. All the inside pages are there and in excellent condition.

I'm out of town at the moment, but I'll be back Monday night. I can send you pics on Tuesday if you're interested.

Take the factory manual for 30. Light years ahead of the clymers. And 30 is a reasonable price for one.

If you can, get the factory manual for $30 from PTM also. You wont be sorry. BTW, I have both for my bikes. There is a LOT more information in the factory manual.

              On manuals for the GS750!

I have the same bike, And was in the same position as you are, not long ago. I made a big mistake by getting the Clymer manual first! I had to turn right around & get the Suziki manual! I agree w/the others, about light years ahead of Clymer! There is NO comparison, PERIOD! You should do what was recommended for sure & do get the one from Suzuki! It's a very good price too. I don't think they're even in the same ball park! I rate the Suzuki manual the same as I do "Motor" manuals for auto's! Good luck!
