The 'rocking' it before starting works. What I did was just pull lever in 5 or 6 times first. Just to live with it 'til I could repair. But the dragging is not just an inconvenience,it's accelerating wear on trans', at least in my case shifting was harder. Trans' cost too much to just 'live with it'. Change to 10/40 and see if it helps. KK.And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!

i find that oil with a lower viscosity when cold works well for me also. 20-50 always drags my clutch before the bike is totally warmed up
