You can buy a motion pro adjuster for about $30. It's worth it. I ended up borrowing one from one of the members here. I'll be buying on before next winter.

If you look at the Motion Pro tool (or any other made for the same purpose), you will see it is made with a fair degree of precision. It needs to fit into a very small space and 'cam' the buckets down.

I tried making a valve-shim tool and failed miserably. Just spend the $30.

        Gotta get this guy: http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/tools.htm

Scroll about 3/4 down the page and you'll see the valve tool for suzukis. The thirty bucks is well worth not having to remove cams every time you put the wrong size shim in.
