    What cleans clutch plates BEST?

Doing mine this weekend, and want to do best job possible. What cleaner? Brake fluid, kerosene, clean oil,gas...? And just bristle brush for all plates,or also 'light' emery scrub on steel plates? Thanks guys!!!
And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!

I can't exactly remember what it is called, Tri====, it was used in fire extinguishers a long time ago. Also the fumes kill about a zillion brain cells, hence why I can't remember the name. Emery cloth will break the glaze really well.

Brake cleaner is what I always used.

I used a DA on the steels with some 80 grit.....

I always used clean varsol or paint thinner, then dried them. Then just a soak overnight in clean engine oil before installation. Never failed for me.
Emery cloth would scuff the steels just fine.
