    Fork leaking,but not the other?

I have a GS850GN and one of the forks are leaking.I bought this bike of ebay and the guy who sold it to me said he had changed the fork seals.I noticed quite soon after i bought the bike that the amount of oil on the top of the fork travel area was alot more than the other.I don't know what this could be?Any answers or help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jo

Hi Jo, He must have damaged the seal on assembly, probably will require a new seal. The other posibility is a bad surface on the inner fork tube, rusted, chipped or gouged. Ray

it takes very little to eat seals, I went through three seals in a very short time before I discovered the very tiny ding that was eating them

Aftermarket seals are crap use OEM if you change them.
