Honda CX500 R/R

Would a R/R from a Honda CX500 be a suitable replacement for a 16v 750?

I'm not an expert in this area, but I have been doing a lot of research on the CX 500 R/Rs. I think it will work on just about any GS with the typical electrical components (headlight, brake lights, turn signals). If what I've read so far is true, it should be a step up from the stock Suzuki R/R.

I might just chicken out and get the Electrex/Electrosport one, so I wouldn't count that out. I worry too much.
