Ordering a Colortune®, what size plug thread?

    Hey all...
I'm wanting to order a colortune kit and don't have my manual here at my computer desk. What's the plug thread size on my 81 GS850GLX? The kit says it is a 10MM and that it includes a 14MM adapter. I just want to make sure I get everything I need.

    Thanks!

Personally, I wouldn't bother. I got one to tune my MG, and found it to be useless. I could tune better by ear or with a vacuum guage than with the colortune. I tried it a couple of times and could never get it to work right. Just my 2 cents.

You'll be fine with the 14 MM adapter. I got a NOS unit on eBay, and it was for 14 MM plugs. I personally found it to be quite useful and easy to use to boot.

        5mm Adapters

I use 5mm adapters that screw into the intakes where the allen bolt comes out.
