Removing Stator Cover

    Small point to add to advice above. The bolts holding the stator cover are different lengths. Keeping them in order as they come out makes it a LOT easier when putting it back together.

    All you need is a small cardboard box...punch holes in it.
    Remove the bolts in one direction and put each in a hole.
    Reassemble same way and all bolts fit perfectly.

    When you replace the stator itself you MUST use blue
    Loctite on the three bolts holding it, and be sure the threads are clean before putting it together.
