Did GS1000 ever employ hy-vo camshaft drive chain?

    Have a 78 GS1000 cylinder head here.
The camshaft sprockets are the type driven by a roller chain.
I'm curious as to whether or not a hy-vo chain was used in later models and if so
...will the later model sprockets fit the older camshafts?
...which hy-vo chain number is used?
...how many teeth on the sprockets?

The cam chain is one thing that did not change from 78 til 85.

The Hy-vo type chain would be TOO heavy, shaft or chain always a roller
