    stock carb settings

    1978 GS750
I need the stock settings for vm's
    main jet#102.5
    pilot jet #15
needle in 3rd slot, thick washer above e clip, thinner one below
air screw 1 3/4 turns out I think (starting point)
pilot screw 1 1/4 turns out I think (starting point)
Are these the right settings? I gleaned them out of the search feature

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Those are correct.
The pilot fuel screws (underneath) will vary some. They're sensitive to adjustment so it matters. Fine tuning will usually be needed. On a stock bike, the screws are generally between 3/4 and 1 1/4 turns out. One turn is a good starting point, or 1 1/4 as you mentioned.
Side air screws are set to whatever achieves highest rpm. 1 3/4 out, or close to, is usually the sweet spot.
And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!
