can i use 2.2 ohm coils on point sytem

5 ohm coils are spec'd for points ignition systems. It would probably be OK if you wanted to parallel wire a 2.5 ohm resistor to each 2.2 ohm coil. Although, I think its a better idea to just use what is supposed to be used.

I've tried to tell you in your past posts....don't use 2.2 ohm coils on your bike.And on the seventh day,after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!
