Cheng Shin Baracuda???
Has anyone tried these. Need to replace the ribbed tires that came on the bike and while I've seen a bunch about the Hi-Max, I'm curious if anyone is using the Baracuda. Seem to priced the same and appear slightly more sport oriented.Tags: None

Hi,
I don't know how they handle on a Suzuki but they get lots of good comments on the XS650 list ( XS650 has same weight, slightly larger front tire and handle a bit slower than my GS650GL). These were what I wanted but they were not avail in Canada, so I ended up buying Dunlop 404 , pretty good so far .
Cheng shin Marquis don't seem to be as much appreciated as the Barracudas..
My 2 cents..

I have them in the back of both 450's and in the front of the S. I haven't had any complaints, then again the first set I was on was Kenda Challengers BLECH.

Buy the hi-max. I put a barcuda on my 850 this year, it will not last 2000 miles. Handles nice allthough.

Not sure what bike you have. I just put a set of Bridgestone S11 Spitfires on my '81 GS850G/ Cannot recommend them enough. Very sweet ride/ I am not a hotrodder but these tires have a nice grip & smooth stable ride/ Cheaper than the BT45 set on my '00GS500E but feel they are a better match to this bike. My 2 cents.

I have used a couple](*,) I know stupid](*,) me on the yamaha, they grip far enough for me to drag the centerstand on more than a few occasions, but #-o you get no life out of them. Try a Hi-maxx instead, they will last longer and are grippy enough to drag pegs.
