i have the clymers which covers the 850 shaft drive. any help? let me know.

Probably not -- I have a Haynes -- I've never thought very highly of either Clymers' or Haynes' manuals (they're better than nothing, of course -- but they always seem to be missing critical info).

I have always purchased one of these for every car I've ever owned, and I always end up buying the official service manual from Ford, GM, Chrysler, etc.

ManualClub is a top site, with all those manuals available for free download. The GS1000 manual is a beauty, it's all there, many specific models covered in the one manual.

Suggestion: if you have benefitted from a downloaded manual from the site, why not make a small donation? I have corresponded with the webmaster a bit in the past -- esp. when he was first trying to get the site up and running in that central european backwater of his -- and he does have costs to cover.
