Help- I am stalling at red lights

The problem is exactly as it soiunds...when I slow down to an idle speed, the bike dies. Fires right back up. No trouble at all at speed. I really think it's a throttle adjustment problem, because I just bought this form a guy who rebuilt the carbs, and I trust that he knew what he was doing. Before I go mesing with the idke adjustment, anyone else have similar troubles? Suggestions? It's a 79 850G BTW, my second GS.

Is your clutch dragging? That would kill it. Kick it in nuetral before stopping and see if it still does it.

If it is not your clutch just bump your idle up a little.

Had Identical problem ..

up your Idle a bit ..

But do it when engine is at operating temp .. very important
