These bikes will start easily when stock. My GS400 starts up on the first crank when it is -10C but it takes a long time to warm up. This is on a battery that was boiled dry during the summer.

How about starting modified bikes? My 1100 want start, or even fire, when it is -10C. It has a 4-into-1 header and some sort of slip on. It must have been jetted too because the popping isn't too bad. Any tips for starting this bike? I will check the choke cable tomorrow.

    Thanks, Steve
