    Raising the Jet Needle

This is for my 1980 GS850L, with Mikuni CV carbs. I would like to raise my Jet Needle (with small brass washers). Has anyone else done this? I can't seem to locate a c-clip plier that will fit inside the slide, and clip onto the c-clip, and not smash the tall cone in the the middle of the inside of the slide. Also, any other tips are welcome. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobis!

    Thanks in advance.

I think there are thin narrow snap ring pliers out there. But I modified a pair that I had, by grinding some metal off of the outside edges.

TL we all have gone through the plires dont fit thing. I used the smallest pair of needle nose pliers that i could find and then ground the tips slightly.

ITS running too lean?????? Thats a switch.

Instead of raising the needles, could I jump a size on the main jet and get similar results?
