a little trick to those bolts that are broken inside the hole is to turn it with a hammer and center punch. It works because the heads gone so the threads arn't stretched and its very easy to turn. I've used this method before and it works very well and your not risking breaking a hardoned easy out inside the bolt.

A left turn drill bit works the best, just center punch the bolt first & use the right size for an extractor just in case it doesnt turn out with the drill bit, But most of the time the bolt will back out with the bit ,
You can get the extraction kits with the left bits from most any good tool place ( snap-on, mac, matco, etc.) Money well spent :-D

I had that happen to my '77 750, i just got a new clutch basket.. I still have the old one with a bolt stuck in it in the garage. Maybe I'll tke it to a machinist and get it removed. Then I'll have a new basket.

so i went to sears and bought a 4 pc micro bolt out kit that cost me $30. i gett home, got everything ready and started to drill. the little bit just spun the broken screw right out. the bolt was loose inside the clutch and it came out without the use of the remover part. but i was able to actually use it on a stripped screw i had on the clutch cable cover. oh well, i fixed it and have all 6 springs back in . thanks for your ideas and help guys.
