    rubber not easily found

    hi yall,
I am not having any luck finding rubber for my 450T '81 the rear tire is 110/90-17 60s. all my searches on tire sites are not finding a fit.

suggestions are welcome, actually needed, well tell me where or what I should be doing to find rubber. thank you

There's rubber out there. Try here as one place to find them. You may have to look for the inch equivalent, which would be a 3.75 to 4.00 by 17" tire.

you can get dunlop d404's in 120/90-17 - not a lot wider, someone here should be able to tell you if it will fit.

Are you sure a PO hasn't mounted a front tire on your rear wheel? That's my guess. I too have never found a 110/90-17 rear tire. Hard enough finding a 120/90-17. Which is my guess as to what your bike requires. I'm clueless about that 60s notation, tho'.

Not much is available in the 120/90-17 rear size but they include:
        Cheng Shin Marquis
        IRC 310 series Durotour
A Bridgestone model but I'm not sure of the name/model

The GS450T does indeed come with a 110/90-17 tire on the rear. The front is 90/90-19.

              thanks

              Guys
Just as suspected, what we have here is OE tire. Scarry, I have gone over it literally with a magnifying glass and found no issues. Gonna change f and r to new rubber.

BTW had to change R/R to SH-232 after two episodes of replacing the igniter.

Thanks for the support and great info on this site.

              My GS will run forever

I'll be. I knew Bridgestone made a 120 but not a 110, Battle Ax series, gonna have to remember that.

Now gwascom 8-[, make sure to save all the old original air to put in the new tire to keep the ol' 450 as original as possible.
