Fuel/Vaccuum Lines on a GS425

I have a 1979 GS425 I am trying to get running again. I throughly cleaned and rebuilt the carbs and I now ready to reattach them to the bike. I know where the fuel line is. I also know about the vent lines from the bowl that go back to the airbox. My question concerns the the pipes coming from the middle of carb #1 and carb #2. Are they the vaccuum lines that need to go back to the petcock? The petcock has only one pipe for the vaccuum line. Here is a picture of the carb and the arrows point to the pipes that are in question.

If You look the picture at Alpha-Sports http://alpha-sports.com/spst/1979%20GS425/07.gif , the vacuum line is part number 42, it is attached to the left side carburetor, in front of choke lever. It seems that these carburetors have two overflow/ventilation lines each, part numbers 30 and 33.

Yup, those are vent lines for the float bowls. Take a couple pieces of tubing, after connecting them to the nipples in the photo, and run then down behind the engine away from the rear tire. If one of your carb floats stick open, fuel will flow through this tube and out of harms way.

The nipple to connect a vaccuum line to the petcock is located on the outside of the left hand carb, up near the front (by the choke lever). It will be necessary to run the vaccuum line in a fairly large loop to reach the petcock without kinking the line (rather poor planning on Suzuki's part on that one in my opinion).

Thanks for all the help. Finally got the carb cleaned proper and installed back on the bike. When to start it and now have flames coming out of carb #1. So it looks like I might have a bit of a project on my hands. Thanks for the help again!!!!
