    stock main jet sizes GS650L?

trying to diagnose poor top end running, and find that after doing high speed plug chop (the right way, from advice here) it seems to be running much too rich: i.e. black soot on #4 plug, 1-2-3 looking black but not as sooty.

Since the PO had no air filter and gutted exhausts, maybe he up-jetted to compensate. But now that I've reinstalled an air filter and mufflers... anybody out there know the stock main jet size for a 1982 GS650GLZ? I'll go to that for a starting point.

Low speed running (up to about 1/8 throttle) is great, got the air screws fiddled right. And the mid-range jet needles are clip-adjustable, that's next.

Thanks! It's a 110. Now to go see what's actually in there.

        success!

Installed 105 main jets, runs much better now (I am at kind of high altitude, 3500+ feet). Better running for sure and probably better gas mileage as well.

When I get time, might try a little leaner yet.
