Hi, does anyone know where I can get the correct part number for a CDI unit for a 1985 GS650GTZ please? Or does anyone know of one from another bike that will do the job please?[-o<

I looked at that site, could not find any 650s in 1985. Last one I saw produced was in 1983.

I've never seen an 85 650. The last year for a 650 is usually 83. The good news is all the 650 g & gl models use the same signal generator. Take a look at the pic of the signal generator - does it match what's on your bike? The bad news is it's really expensive!

Will the dyna S work on a 650? I wasn't sure if it would. If it does that's the way to go. I have 3 of them & they work great!

                Dyna S Ignition System?

Does anyone know for sure if a Dyna Signition system will work on a Gs650? The prices I am getting qouted for a standard one are no joke!

Try & talk to someone at Z1 enterprises. They have a well deserved rep for being very helpful.
