GSX750e
Hey guys, ive just bought a 1982 gsx750e and she goes like a dream, but im looking for some more kick. So other than upgrading to an 1100 or a 1400, is there anything i can do to it to give it more power. At the moment she is pretty stock except for the single sports exhaust. Im going to put NGk iridium spark plugs in it and a k&n filter which will help. So anyway your suggestions will be appreciated.

the funny thing about 4-1 exhausts is that in addition to makng it difficult to jet correctly, they tend to lose a significant amout of torque in the lower half of the rev- range. You might be losing 5- 8 horsepower below 5000RPM to gain 3 at 7500 RPM. Not a strong trade. This will make any bike less satisfying to ride. I would encourage you to try and find a set of stock headers and exhaust. You will note a strong increase in power right away. I have done this myself with GS models.

Thanks trispeed, I think i will get some stock headers and original exhausts for it. Also, does anyone know the code for the NGK iridiums for this bike.
thanks
