need to replace front calipers on one of my 80 GS1100s

Hi all, the front calipers on my 1980 GS1100ET are shot; and darned if Suzuki hasn't discontinued them...

Do any of you know where I might get a pair of new ones?, or

are there compatible calipers out there that will bolt right on?

Have you considered re-building the ones that you have? It's a fairly simple process and the parts are readily available ... 8)

Yep, I was gonna do that, which is how I found out these calipers are bad. They are worn to the point of not being rebuildable.

How do you mean they are not rebuilbable? most brake specialists can re-sleeve worn calipers and make them rebuildable.
