83 GS1100E gas tank question
OK, just starting to work on my new 83 GS1100E project, trying to figure out what holds down the back side of the tank. Mine just came right off once I pulled the seat off, is there a bracket or strap on the back side that holds it in place, or attaches it to the frame? Surely the seat being there isn't the only thing that holds it in place, although on this bike, it apparently was??? What am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!Current stable:
