    Funny.. I did a search on this only to find a thread from today. Go figure.

    Chef, I'll be interested in this as well. Being that the wiring going on there so sufficiently scared me that I ran away from it last weekend... I assume there's something that runs from the speedo to the turn signal sending unit? (or am I speaking out of my rear)

      Well, I found a 140 MPH speedo from a GS1100 junker at a local boneyard in Salt Lake. That place is awesome because I found a chainguard for my bike in good shape there yesterday. I eagerly took it inside and the boneyard owner twisted a speedo cable in it to see if it worked.
