1992 GSXR 1100 Carbs... Will they fit an 83 GS750E?

I'm wondering if '92 GSXR 1100 carbs will fit on an '83 GS750E? If so, has anyone re-jetted them, or have any suggestions on jetting for a GS750E? The GSXR carbs seem to be cheap on EBAY so I'm wondering if they are worth giving a try

I know they swap on the 1100s. Since 1100s have 34mm and 750s have 32mm I'd have to say no.
1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.

What size are the carbs? 34's will be alright but bigger than that and you won't get them on the manifolds.

I'm looking at a 92 GSX-R1100 service manual and they say the carbs are BST36SS with a 36mm bore.

I assume the bore is the inside diameter of the intake/engine side?

That would be correct. The inlet side is more like 54mm. You could get manifolds from an earlier GS1100 that used 34mm carbs. The 36mm carbs shouldn't flow any more air than my 34mm RS flatslides so tuning should be doable.
