I just watched the video. I'm not sure who had more fun, you driving or your wife videoing/laughing.

How about a 12V blower like from an auto A/C unit a short duct and a little fiberglass cowl to direct airflow. A relay and thermostat can be easily rigged-up to switch the blower. Of course, if oil cooling brings the temp down enough , then, that's far more elegant.
      Just got the video downloaded, what can I say..... A W E S O M E!

thats pretty cool, i use to have a suzuki quad that i put a gs450 motor in and it hauled. as for cooling, how about those nascar brake cooling fans. there 3 inch tubes that just pump out air. there 12 volt so it could work. they have them on ebay.

Thanks for all of the complements!

I like the blower motor idea --thanks! Since I'm not running the headlight, does anyone know how many amps I can safely use for 12v blower motors without risking damage to the voltage regulator/charging system?

I'll take a look at some 12v blower motors, and also look into maybe welding up some alum duct work. I'm thinking maybe one blower motor for Cyl #1 and #2, and another blower motor for Cyl #3 and #4.

            That baby looks awesome!

I notice you have to shift pretty quicky with that - did you consider some other transmission? Would it have been practical to go with one of those variable diameter pully designs with a GS engine? A CVT with 60-70hp behind it would make for heckuva cart...

You need one of the black GS1150 oil filter covers for full time oil cooling Maybe a big air scoop above your head
