    15 miles to the gallon?!?

Hello, I just alligned my carbs, and got everything goin' good. But it seems I traveled 35 miles per, and half my tank is gone...

I think my tank is 5 gallons, but I'm not sure. even if it was 2 though, it should be getting 50mpg, yea? I was wondering what might make that happen. I aligned all the carbs to the #3, all had a vacuum around 7, so that should have been good, and I put the airscrews out 1 1/2 turns out. But then I put them in a 1/2 more, and the engine nearly killed. So I only put them in 1/4 more.

    I don't know...

And as far as adjusting the air screws properly, i still don't get it after reading threads. Some talked about a color of something, but pictures would be nice if possible, or an easier explination.

Theres no way I could go that slow on my GS1100, I would feel like I was crawling. Need more info on your bike like what size and year and your riding habits, hey are you sure your speedo/odometer work OK?

Don't trust your fuel guage. My half a tank marker really is about 3/4 tank. Set your trip on your speedo and check your milege that way. Miles driven divided by gallons pumped.
