I was wondering if it's possible that I put mikuni Flatslide carburetors on my GS850. in saying that, I mean will they fit in the stock carb boots?

If you are talking about the intake boots NO they won't fit it would have to be a custom installation. IF you are serious I would contact www.Sudco or one of the racing specialists. It goes back to you previous
posts about increasing the preformance of your GS850. You would be better off if you left the GS850 as a touring bike that it was designed for and go out and get a GS1000/1100/1150 to play with -

Don't people put 850 heads onto 750s? These engines should be capable of quite a bit since I can beat most cars off of the line with my 400...Comment

I wasn't saying it couldn't be done. Just that it is going to be a custom setup.. I don't know what your mechanical skills are.Comment
