    Parts Identification Help

    Hi Friends.

Thanks in advance for this. You guy's blow me away how helpful you are.

Below I have something I bought on EBAY that did not fit my bike I was hoping you could help me ID so I can list it properly so the next guy gets what he is expecting.

    My Ebay listing came under
1982 Suzuki GS1100 GS 1100 Carb Air Intake Boots

I looked at the boots, not too closely, looked good to me, but they did not fit. Are about an inch or so wider and they have clamps on both sides where mine has a clamp on one side and one screw goes into the other side.

    I own a 83 gs 1100 GK
Here is the picture of the boots I bought.

They are in good shape, I see no cracks and would be a good value for someone at $30 delivered.

Could someone help me identify what bikes these will fit?

    Thanks!

They look to be Boots for a 16v 1100. They may fit other 16v models, but can't say for sure.

not a good picture but they might be air box side intake boots.

Once I blew up the pic, I could tell those are off the 16 valve motor like Dan said. They do not interchange with the 8 valve motor (as you found out).

              the sniper

Thats funny! :-D Man I wish I would find a set for the GK that nice. They are hard to find used in good shape.

I probably will bite the bullet and buy new.

If you run into someone that needs a good set, I would appreciate if you passed them on. It would make a good value for someone.
