I was looking for a schematic or something out of a manual on line?I bought a manual, waiting for it to come.Just wondering how timing is set?I have a T light. Is the T light used on all 4 cyl.or just 1 and2?Is the timing set on the F or T?At the timing plate?Need to verify if points are set on T or F at the timing plate? Thanks Steve.

Change out the points, gap them to 0.014" and then set them at idle to the "F" mark. Cylinders 1 and 4 are one set of points and 2 and 3 are the other. Time one set then change the timing light clamp to the other coil. I usually use 4 then change to 3 as they are on the same side of the bike your working on. This is it in a nut shell.
