    GS450 sticks in gear

With the engine running its almost impossible to shift gears, it goes from neutral to first or 2nd fine, but once there unless I'm moving or I shut the engine off I can not shift.I adjusted the clutch according to the gs manual but still not working. Any thoughts.

Not sure I understand your concern. In general, the transmission will not shift through the gears unless the bike is moving - the engagement dogs need to align together before it will shift. Do you have a shifting problem while the bike is moving? While riding the bike it's always best to downshift as you are nearing a stop. If you forget to reach first before stopping, let the clutch out a little at a stop while pressing the shift lever and the transmission should clunk into the next lower gear.

    Hope this helps.

Might want to verify the quality of your oil as well. My wife's bike shifts so much easier now that gas isn't leaking into the crankcase. (razzle frazzle petcocks)
