    Clogged hole in Carb 3

Ok, this hole is clogged in carb #3.

I don't have the special tool (brass bristle in a matchstick) to clear it out tonight. What are the possible problems caused by this? Could this be causing the bike to run rich? Could it prevent me from starting (actually working on carb #4, stopping for a break)?

I will come back and poke at it when I get a bristle and a matchstick, but for now I'm just gonna finish up the rest of the work.

That wouldn't cause the bike to run rich. But it would, if clogged, make your #3 cylinder hard to start. The bike probably only started on 3 cylinders, and the 4th (your clogged #3) probably didn't kick in until the engine was warmed up.
    Frosty (falsely accused of "Thread-Hijacking"!)

That's the choke feed tube. That particular carb won't work right with the choke. This will make the bike hard to start and rough idle on choke. Once off choke it should work fine.

if it is clogged in the bowl, theres a good chance the ity bitty hole in the choke pick up tube (sticks down into that opening) is clogged as well.
