Thanks Sandy. I'll ask about the true condition. I'll probably just order a new one unless this one is perfect, which I doubt by the description.
I need to get myself something for my upcoming birthday(from the wife). If I don't, she'll get me something I probably can't use anyway. I'm at that point where I'm really hard to buy for I guess. So in a way, an NOS one won't cost me anything. It's still not about the $, it's about keeping the bike as nice as I can. I actually prefer the modified version I cut. The NOS would just be used if the crack came back.
Thanks again for taking the time.And on the seventh day,after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!

Keith, that ducktail wasn't put there just for looks. It added considerable rigidity to the chain guard.sigpic[Tom]
