    Transmission questions

I just started my GS after it sat for 13 yrs. While on the lift I put it into gear and noticed the wheel would stop almost immediately when the clutch is pulled in.

What should I check? I would assume it should run free instead of stopping so quickly.

Also when shifting into any gear there is a loud clunk. Clutch adjustment??

Sounds like the clutch plates are sticking together. You may have to ride to get them loosened up.

I'll check those rear brakes tomorrow. Thanks for the tips. Hope the clutch improves with riding. When I started it I discovered another fuel leak at the petcock so I will have to wait on some new seals.
