Will exhaust from '83 GS1000e fit a 81GS1000GL

Hi,

I'm new to this site and have posted a question or two regarding a replacement exhaust for a 1981 GS100GLX...however no response. Does anyone know if an exhaust from the same year 750L or an 83 GS1100e fit this bike...Thanks' in advance

I Used The Pipes Off A 1980 Gs1100e To Fit This Bike I Had To Fabricate Some Brackets To Hang The Mufflers To The Rear Pegs

I think they are differant. If they fit is a tricky question. depends on your skills.
I do believe the 750 has uses smaller diameter head pipes that could effect performance. For some unknown reason......exhaust systems for our "GL" series are very difficult to come by. even aftermarket productions are scarce.
You can always spend some time looking at the micro fisches parts catalog on BikeBandit to see what systems might share part numbers. Long process.
