    Oil Pressure Light

I went out to start my bike today (it's been about 2 weeks) and the oil light was flickering. NOt constant, it would flicker for about a second or two, then not for about 30 seconds, flicker...etc
After the bike warmed up, it didnt do this. Is this normal, as it has never done this before.
    Thanks

No, not normal. You can unplug and screw out the white sending unit and have a look at it. It should spring back and forth with ease. They should open and turn off your light at about .4 psi. Also check your connection. It can become frayed where it runs under your starter cover.

Thanks for your reply! Will check later. Have to get my manual to find the sending unit.

If it's like mine, it is behind the cyliders below the cam chain tensioner, right in the middle of the engine. Here's a pic. Mine would be slightly different than yours (I have an oil cooler hooked up to it)

The little white plastic gizmo with a single wire hooked to it is the sending unit.

Yes, that's it. Unplug the wire going to it, unscrew it, and see if it's maybe gunked up. You could also hook the wire back up once removed and turn your ignition on, and see if your light goes out when you push the spring closed.
