Question on 750T dual rotor conversion

Folks, I'm looking at a pair of forks from an 81 850GL.
Any reason why this won't work. Do I need the triple
tee or can I get away with just replacing the fork
    assys.

    These are leading axle forks?

Do you want those or the standard type forks?

Yep, the '81 GLX has the leading axle forks. The 82 750T has
the standard forks (clamp on the end). I don't know what the
difference is. The triple tee is different on the bikes according
to the microfiche. I don't know if the original tee can accomodate
the twin rotor setup (maybe its too narrow?).

        Sorry for the shameless bump.

If anyone can share their knowledge on fork compatibility between
the GS it would be a great help.

You would need the Tripples both width & diameter are different

So the tee's are interchangeable? Do you know if the stops will match up or will I need to have it machined/welded?
