After going to the Dynojet website and doing some research, it turns out the PO probably DIDN'T install a Stage 3 kit like he said. The reason I say this is the Stage 3 kit (#3315.003 for 80-85 GS750E) comes with "Main Air Correctors" which are supposed to be tapped and glued in over the existing main air jets. The carbs that came with the bike had nothing over the main air jets. I will have to disassemble the 1100 carbs (that I put the jets from the 750 into) and find out what size jets and needles came with the 750. The bike was running at one time with the V&H exhaust and pod filters and the PO claimed he had done a jet kit on it. Is there a jet kit that doesn't run "correctors"? Here's the DynoJet specs:

Main Jet DJ130 (for aftermarket exhaust)
    Main Air Correctors DC0302
    Fuel Needles DNT604
plus drill bits, screw, e-clips, etc.

I know I wrote down the jet sizes before I swapped 'em out, I just have to find it. Do the fuel needles have sizes and/or part #'s on them? I just don't have the money for a new DynoJet kit right now.

Paul: The 1100 carbs are in GREAT condition, everything free and removable, diaphragms are in great shape. However, I did not know the needle jet could be pressed out and cleaned so you might have to check that. (thanks for the rebuild link guys!) I cleaned everything else thoroughly. As far as fuel leaks, I doubt it but cannot say for sure because I have never put them on the bike (still waiting on the bolt kit to button up the engine.) All of the o-rings looked great when I cleaned them. Do you have a stage 3 kit for the 750 carbs?

No I don't have stage three for the 750 carbs. I was able to get it running good swapping out different jets( mains, pilots, air), needles and needle jets from 34's, shims and float adj. If you know or can find out what size jets (main, air, pilot air) you will need I will put them in. As well as put the 32mm needle jets and needles back in stock arrangement. They do have new fuel screws, and new float needle and seats. You will have to re-adjust the floats for your bike. I never seperated the bank of carbs, and they haven't leaked at all in 800 miles with them on the bike.

        Paul,

From what I've gathered from my various posts, these are the size jets, etc. that I'll need.

        Pilot Jet: 45
        Main Jet 122.5
        Pilot Main Air Jet: 180
        Adjustable needles.

I'll find a #30 drill bit for the slides locally.

I put all of the original jets and needles back in the 1100 carbs and checked to make sure everything was still free and moveable (it was). I have two different choke cable mounting systems: a clamp type and a screw-in type. Which one do you want for the 1100 carbs? I can't remember if I swapped that part out.
